THE PROBLEM
Daycare staff tracked attendance and daily activities on paper and over the phone. Parents had no visibility into their child’s day until pickup — every question meant a call, and every call pulled a teacher out of the room.
WHAT I DID
I did the discovery and the data synthesis, mostly the UX work: talking with parents and staff, looking at the daycare apps already on the market, and turning what we learned into the parent profile below. The team carried it through design and build.
THE OUTCOME
Perfect Day shipped and is still live. Today it runs as Perfect Day Live, with the parent app on the App Store. I did the discovery and the data work behind it, and the team carried it through to launch.
